Do you share a name with a ball player .....

Just wondering if anyone out there has the same name as a ballplayer.

I have the pleasure of having the same name as the 1970's Astros pitcher Mike Cosgrove

Was able to contact him ~ via mail ~ earlier this year and received a couple of sigs which includes one of my favorite autographs ---- Gary Carter has the hold on 99/100 but this one is up there ~~~~ it states:
"From one
Mike Cosgrove
to another
Mike Cosgrove"

Garret isn't very common at all, especially spelt the same with two r's and just one t... Garret Anderson is the only one I've ever come across.. ball player or not..

My last name is Polish, 11 letters, spelled really strangely, but then again aren't they all? A Canadian Junior hockey player shares the same last name, not related as far as I know. I've actually been able to find and purchase his Sudbury Northern Wolves, Junior team jersey, he also played for the Soo Greyhounds in 2004-05 before he wreaked his shoulder. He wasn't a star by any means, his line with the Hounds was 0-4-59. Kind of a goon, maybe we are realted afterall! My 8 year old thinks it is pretty cool that we have a jersey with our name sewn on the back. When he is older and bigger he will be wearing the jersey around. He is getting close to big enough now. I think it is all the extra growth hormones that they give to the cows that is in the milk he drinks.
