Starting a 1955 Topps set - all PSA 6 with NQ

Let me first say I am new here and LOVE this message board. I have learned quite a bit by searching through the old threads. It looks as though there are several outstanding collectors on this site.

I am starting the 1955 Topps set. I want to complete the set with PSA 6's with NQ. Please let me know if you have any that you are willing to sell. I don't have much to trade except the new stuff which I know isn't necessarily a site favorite. I have purchase a few singles on auctions so I am pretty much looking for every card in the set.

Welcome Chahn1980. There are many of us that have 1955 Topps sets on this board. I have some extra PSA 6's and will have around another 40 or so in two weeks. Feel free to PM me and we can talk.

    Regards,

Welcome chahn! Building that set brought me great joy. It is affordable in PSA 6 and true PSA 6s have great eye appeal. Gary was a big help with the assembly of my set, and I encourage you to deal with him. There are a few 55 guys on here that can offer great advice. If I can be of any assistance, dont hesitate to ask. Good luck!!

  • Awesome choice. I just finished my 55 Topps set last week. It's raw and would probably grade 3 on average, but it sure was fun to build.

I think you are headed in the right direction by picking a grade ahead of time too. Stick with the 6s, and you will have a beautiful set when you are done.

I am actually doing the BB set. But...I do like the looks of the AA set. Who knows what the future holds but for right now I am focusing on the BB set. It should keep me busy for a while.
