Time for me to upgrade to an DLSR. I have for sale a Nikon Coolpix 5700 camera. This camera is a 5 megapixel camera with 8x optical zoom. Included with the camera:
Original box, documentation and software
Nikon UR-E8 telephoto lens adapter
Nikon TC-15ED Telephoto Lens
Nikon HR-E5700 Lens hood (very helpful in shooting closeups of coins in macro mode)
Nikon leather carrying case
Lexar 2GB Compact Flash card
AC adapter
Bought the camera in 2005 from K6AZ here on the forums. The telephoto lens is for outside use, not for coins. Super lens though. My price is $350 for the entire package. PM for further details.

<< <i>Hey Lee, I can say with complete confidence that you nailed that Antietam.
Thanks John. Nice coins make it easy.
It's also scary to think how nice your pictures will be if you get a better sensor/lens in there. You sure have the lighting sorted out!!!
I have a vision of a room in ones house. The walls are adorned with large framed images of the most stunning coins. Just huge blowups of fantastic lincolns. With very high quality equipment, one can make some nice images suitable for printing at large sizes and framing. Pretty much indistinguishable from high quality film.
If I had the time to put in to photographing my collection I'd be all over it
