Cabrera Auction

I contacted the buyer to warn them but heard nothing.

I found this auction when I was doing some research in preparing to bid on this one

2nd Cabrera Auction

Can't figure out how the 1st one actually sold for as much as it did...I mean it looks pretty obvious sitting in that holder that it had a bit of a trim on the bottom.

Hope the buyer of the 1st can get out of it

Yep, trimmy jimmy.. That's too bad for the buyer's sake. Did you try to contact the buyer, to let him/her know?

Yup...it was after the fact as I just saw it yesterday but I did send them a note.

I hope they paid with Paypal and a credit card

Looking at his feeback, I dont see why he would resort to trimming cards (Its obvious he has). He has a lot of feedback on high dollar items, so either he is selectively scamming or very good at it.

If you look at a lot of his closed patch auctions, many are fake

i.e.

Clearly states "game-worn jersey", not patch like it should.
