I think the winning bid on the one above won't be far off the mark. You could try a search on eBay US to see if any others were sold and what they made.
Although not valuable, still a nice piece of old history and I'm sure the ship design would especially appeal to some collectors.
That's a Conder token, isn't it? If it's part of the Conder series, it would be listed in the Dalton & Hamer, or whatever their book is called. (I don't have it... yet.)
There is no shortage of Conder enthusiasts here, so if it is a Conder, you'll be getting a lot more info on it, I suspect. Wait for an appearance by Farthing or Aethelred or one of the others.
LM is correct - it is a Conder token - cataloged by Dalton & Hamer as Middlesex D&H #985 as part of the National Series. Middlesex is the county where London is located in England.
There are several varieties of edges on this token, you have a common version - PAYABLE IN LANCASTER LONDON OR BRISTOL.
The linked completed auction is representative of the price for this token - in your example I would expect $15-$25 on eBay.

BTW, thanks for imaging the edge. Just this morning I was looking at another ebay auction for one of these tokens - a 985a variety where the seller noted that the edge listing in Dalton & Hamer was wrong in listing the edge as "PAYABLE IN LONDON OR DUBLIN . X . X ." when the edge actually is "PAYABLE AT LONDON OR DUBLIN . X . X ." I had to pull out my example of this token to verify that the correct edge wording is AT.
Before Dalton & Hamer wrote their standard reference The Provincial Token-Coinage of the 18th Century the standard reference book was Tradesmen's Tokens of the 18th Century by James Atkins. In Atkins book the edge is correctly listed as "PAYABLE AT LONDON OR DUBLIN . X . X ." but he lists your edge wording in error as "PAYABLE AT LANCASTER LONDON OR BRISTOL" while D&H correctly lists it as "PAYABLE IN LANCASTER LONDON OR BRISTOL"
Since I do not have an example of #985 to solve the difference your image has solved my question of earlier today as to which reference is correct.
A good example of not relying on just one reference book, here each was wrong on 1 of the 2 most common edge varieties.

thank you farthing and others. I appreciate the help. I gave the high end $25 for mine. But I bought it because of the history as I have found I enjoy that over value alot of times.
