Did you know the earliest historical record of a reservoir pen dates back to the 10th century. In 953, Ma'âd al-Mu'izz, the caliph of Egypt, demanded a pen which would not stain his hands or clothes, and was provided with a pen which held ink in a reservoir and delivered it to the nib via gravity and capillary action.
Did you know the first recorded hot dog sausage as we know it today was eaten by the greeks from at least 850 BC. The idea of putting a hotdog on bread was invented in 1880 by German named Antonoine Feuchtwanger
Did you know a pencil eraser is darker due to the graphite and charcoal dust that has become incorporated into the eraser. An eraser or rubber is an article of stationery that is used for removing pencil and sometimes pen writings. Erasers have a rubbery consistency, and they are often white, brown or pink although with modern materials they can be any color at all. Many pencils are equipped with an eraser on one end. Typical erasers are made of rubber, but more expensive or specialized erasers can also contain vinyl, plastic, or gum-like materials.
Did you know Thomas P. Crapper was a plumber who founded Thomas Crapper & Co. Ltd. in London. Despite the urban legend, Crapper did not invent the flush toilet (the myth assisted by his surname). However, Crapper did much to increase its popularity and came up with some related inventions.
Did you know Sambucus (Elder or Elderberry) is a genus of between 5 and 30 species of shrubs or small trees (two species herbaceous), formerly treated in the honeysuckle family Caprifoliaceae, but now shown by genetic evidence to be correctly classified in the moschatel family Adoxaceae. The genus is native to temperate to subtropical regions of both the Northern Hemisphere and the Southern Hemisphere; the genus is more widespread in the Northern Hemisphere, with Southern Hemisphere occurrence restricted to parts of Australasia and South America.

Hi Randy.
Glad you made it back safe and sound.
I liked him also - this was the episode where he went back to grade school and wound up getting a diploma of sorts - I thought it was funny when Andy told him that the great body of water to east was the Atlantic and Earnest thought the great body of water to the west was "Ole man Kelsey's creek."
