How the Heck did this card pull a 7??? I've seen a few examples where SGC is lax on centering but this card is just plain ugly...

    Yeah, It would be nice if the seller had a decent scan...

    Pardon me for hijacking your thread, but I wanted you guys' opinion on this card. It was from an auction several months ago from a VERY large Ebay seller who does VERY large business with PSA.

    I've been submitting 86 Fleers for more than 10 yrs now and I would consider myself fairly knowledgable about how they're graded. Yet I have absolutely NO idea how this card got a 9 NQ.

    Thoughts?

    Even if the centering were 50/50 all around, how did this get a 9 with that bottom right corner? That is an 8 at best.

    Edited to clarify that I was referring to the Olajuwon card.

    Looks like a 6 maybe 6.5 to me..

    Edit to add.. Atleast that's the grade I would be given if I submitted it.

    After looking at the rest of the seller's cards I would guess that the cards weren't graded, that they're part of the craigslist fakes going around. The 58 mantle doesn't have enough border and has the font and bar code that the craigslist cards had.

    Can't believe somebody paid $2900 for the bobby orr card he had listed a few days ago. I hope it works out ok for that guy.
