Mutually beneficial baseball trades?

I realize it's too early to go NUTS for either Josh Hamilton or Edison Volquez, but the fact that they were recently traded for one another (and are kicking ass) got me to thinking...
What are the best baseball trades you can remember in which BOTH TEAMS got a player who immediately started putting up studly numbers and then kept at that pace for at least a couple of years??
<<Bonus points if the trade involves two (relatively) young and fresh players like Hamilton and Volquez.>>
Reds fans and Rangers fans both have to be thrilled about that trade, right? It's got to be a rare thing.

don't you just love 20/20 hindsight?
- Rick Sutcliffe to the Cubs for Joe Carter and Mel Hall was a good trade for both teams. Sutcliffe won the Cy Young that year and the Indians got a great prospect (Carter) and a solid player (Hall).

Well, Buhner was a good prospect, no question about it. But my baseball people love Ken Phelps' bat. They kept saying 'Ken Phelps, Ken Phelps'.

Jason Bay to the Sox.
(too early to say it worked for "several years" but the "immediate impact" for
both teams is undeniable)

Detroit got a pitcher who won 9 games, then was out of baseball 2 years later.
the Braves got a Hall of Famer, cy young winner and a post season stud for 20 years.

<< <i>"Doyle Alexander for John Smoltz. Both teams got what they wanted out of the deal"

Alexander got the Tigers to the playoffs. It was a classic 'trading away future prospect for proven veteran for immediate playoff help' scenario. And in that respect I think both teams got what they wanted.
Obviously if the Tigers had known that John Smoltz would turn into John Smoltz, the trade wouldnt have happened.
<< <i>Ozzie Smith for Garry Templeton?? >>
great example. Obviously looking back with 20/20 hindsight, this deal seems ridiculous. But at the time it was considered an even swap...or maybe even that the Cards were getting ripped off.
Steve Carlton for Rick Wise worked out well.
