First of all anything that has any value isn't free. Ebay will get their money one way or the other. If they do go to the "free" listing policy I'm betting they will follow Naxcom's model. For example with Naxcom a free listing means that they get their money if you sell a card. See below for a perfect example of a card that I sold this weekend on Naxcom: 1974 Topps Johnny Unitas NM $6.50 Purchase amount $2.25 S/H + Buyer protection guarantee (Buyer pays Seller insurance on items over $10) $-1.15 Transaction fee $-0.54 Payment processing fee (Paypal, credit card, check/m.o., etc.) So I get $.56 to spend on shipping this card to the buyer without dipping into the purchase amount. I don't know about you guys but I'm not sending this card in a pwe.
