my card shop woe's continue..

well, i gave him till fri to have my cash.he insists that he has suckered another guy into partnership and he's giving him $7000.so today i talk to his landlord, and he says he's giving him till the end of the month to come up with almost $2000 for back rent. he tells him the same story, so i tell the landlord my story. so the landlord says that he is going to have him evicted if he does not get the money. he also told me that he can put a lean on all of the contents of the building until its paid. wow!! this guy owes everyone in town..i look for him to pack his stuff up and just leave.. i think im going to place a bet on that.. don

    start by cutting off his pinky finger.
    then break his leg
    then burn down his house
    then his card shop.
    at some point he will come up with the money.

    well he still has over $900 in book value cards, i always sold them at 1/2 book..well over 250 adult movies(which i really do not care im having a time trying to get rid of the 500 i have now.. i might just ask him how much over what he owes me do i need to just buy the displays and the common boxes. i am kinda stuck, its all my fault i kinda get stuck in stupid stuff like this.. i always see the good in people and then again i was trying to help him out... don

    Kidnap him,take to a lonely spot,give him a shovel,get him to dig his own grave,tell him to stand in it,point the gun at him,ask him 1 last time for the money. He won't have it with him,so offer him your cell phone,he will come up with it within 1 minute.

    that seems like the way i used to things.. i have calmed down a bit.. trust me im so frustrated with my stupidity. i would not be in this spot if i did not give him the money,point blank..don

    Wow, that sucks really bad , it seems he does not have the money for anyone .

    Maybe he is hiding all his money and is going to make a break for it .

    Short of doing something illegal to the guy I have no valuable ideas for you to help get your money back .

    If it were me , I would just cut my losses and just crack him across the knees with my baseball bat , It might not get me my money back , but at least I would have some kind of satisfaction . .

    You're right though . . . .Give me my money or I'm going to break your legs . . .I suppose that can fall under the RICO law ?

    The Rico Law is a pretty broad law and can pretty much be used by anyone in so many ways .

    I am truely sorry for what you are having to go through. I am curious though, who's idea was it to sell porn and baseball cards in the same place? Doesn't exactly seem like the greatest business model.

    his, i just gave him money he said he needed and thats what he bought..heck the football cards were selling like crazy the porn was not doing so hot..i thought he was going to buy some cases to rip.. don

    Lending or investing money with small shop owners is like throwing money away.


    Unless they own the building the overhead will kill them.


    Sorry this happened to you but I think you may be in for an almost total loss.

    heck the rent is perfect $350 i was selling that in a week end infoot ball cards.. i thought things were going good till stuff started coming up missing. then i thought i miss counted. so i had my daughter come in at closing to inventory the cards. don
