Sending damaged cards back to Topps?

Comments

  • Not sure on the address, never really sent anything to them or UD either. I did send in a damaged card once to Fleer, when the company was Fleer and not UD, back in 1999-00 if I remember correctly.

I busted a box of Fleer Metal I belive it was or something like that, i'm bad with Baseball stuff but I did buy a few Baseball boxes back then. The card set was called Lumbers or something, I got the autographed version of Derek Jeter and I think that was the most expensive card in the entire product, lol.

It was beautiful card and then I turn in to the back and theres a huge piece of the back missing, like somebody peeled it or something. Anyway I call Fleer to see what they can do, they said simply mail it to us with a note or something saying it was damaged and so on and they would send another one. So I get the card back in a few weeks only to get another card damaged, lol. Not nearly as bad of course but the back edges were very white along the endges, I guess I was picky and called them to tell them about the white showing and they said we can't pick out a perfect one image

At that point I said to myself let me just keep that one before I get one in worst condition next time.

    Good Luck!
