Acquired a collection...

I helped a friend move into a new house last week. He called me today and asked me to come over and take the boxes of baseball cards that he didnt want to store anymore. It was 7 monster boxes. (4) 5,000 ct. boxes and (3) 3,200 ct. boxes. All filled with baseball cards from 1967 - 1979. I have only thumbed through a few stacks in each box. There are some beautiful 1975s in this lot. The 67s and 68s are beaters. The 69s have alot of NM looking cards. There are 2 complete sets of 1979 Topps, a complete set of 1978, and a complete set of 1977 Topps. Tons of nice looking 1970, 1972, and 1973. The 1971s average around EX. I will be offering up alot of it for sale on the BST once I go through it more.

ive helped a dozen friends move, the most i get is some pizza.
All for free? Someone must've volunteered some spooning and a backwards hug after moving the master bedroom furniture!!

Glad your friend step up and gave you something for your time and effort. I know you would of loved to received some 56's but receiving baseball cards still a nice way to pay someone that enjoys baseball cards. Gary
