Under photoshop the right border looks a lot brighter than the left, some people here would say it's frosted down that side.

Possibly the 8 was slid out for another try at an 8.5 or 9, and an old 5 or 6 was put in it's place. Nobody could grade that an 8.5, even pro.

I doubt the holder has been tampered with. I can't see mintxpress stooping to that level for such a small gain, and I have to believe he inspected the holder.

It's not the first 8 I've seen that looks like a 6, and it won't be the last.

I find it so interesting that folks on here try to make excuses for a badly graded PSA card, but it this was a BGS or SGC card, there would be a flame job a happening. Truth is, they are all guilty of this from time to time.

Agreed mintxpress does not sell cards in tampered holders. It is a 6 in an 8 holder.

no biggie, buy the card not the holder.

Ive seen 8's in 6 holders too.
