Grades Popped- Some BCCG Crossovers

Here is my latest poppage. The ones marked with an asterisk were BCCG crossover's. Overall not too bad but not much love for the BCCG cards.

I did and I thought I looked them over but not well enough I guess.

Well, you did pull two 10's from them so that's cool.

I find it interesting all of "your" cards were 10's and the bccg's were mostlys 8's-9's

I assume all of the crossovers were BCCG 10s?

Yeah that is interesting. As I said I looked everything over the same. I have another batch I want to crack out and try again.

That's not to bad since a bccg 10 is a "mint" or better as it states on the flips..Alot of times ebay sellers try to pump up a bccg 10 as if it's supposed to be equal to a BGS 9.5 when in reality it not they're supposed to be equal to a BGS 9 on paper.

Understood. I just wouldn't have sent in anything that didn't have a shot at a 9 or better so I was suprised I had four grade the way they did.

I've only bought a few BCCG cards - all 10s. I only attempted to cross one of them over and it got an 8. This was before the .5 scale was in place and I knew it was a borderline 9 so I knew I was taking a risk.

The others I haven't bothered because they are relatively cheap cards and I don't think they are guaranteed 9's. Needless to say, I have vowed to stay away from BCCG cards!
  • Well with Favre having so many cards in the registry you have to get them anyway you can. I figured these were at least graded so you have a chance. You never know what buying raw might get you.
