Collecting Interests: Ripken, Brooks & Frank Robinson, Old Orioles, Sweet Spot Autos, older Redskins - Riggins, Sonny, Baugh etc and anything that catches my eye.

<< <i>Sure seems that there's a lot of room for that card to move around in that slab. >>
They're supposed to look like that.. That's how the inner sleeve is, It's not like the rails in a PSA slab that are close to the edges. As for movement the cards stay pretty secure..

How's that? The card is not moving in that holder unless it's dropped or tapped pretty firmly. It looks fitted exactly like any other BGS/BVG slabbed card. That is the one feature where BGS holders can't be beat. No movement to jingle around in the holder, no black border to potentially chew up the edges, and a holder that is tamper resistant. BGS has their downfalls, but their holder is one of the few things I can compliment them on.
<< <i>If you live in the Toronto area you more than welcome to pick the card up in person. In this situation, cash ONLY is accepted. No cheques or money orders for in person pickup. >>
That is alot of cash to be walking around with for the "in person" exchange...
As much as I'd love to own that card in that condition, if I had 32 G's laying around and were required to spend it on a baseball card, I'd probably get a low grade 52 Mantle instead... and spend any leftover to buy one of the Ripken 9.5's to re-submit *grin*

<< <i>well, there are 38 9.5's waiting for an upgrade >>
As if there are not the same "upgrades" going on with PSA or SGC??

<< <i>Great card. You'd think for $32 large, the seller could cover the shipping. >>
If I had that card and it sold for 30 large I would fly to the buyer and drop it off... (with a security guard of course!)

Haha seriously.
