I think there are several threads here showing pricing guides from the early 80s or was the point about Bonds?

Last year I was cleaning out one of the 2 closets full of cards at my parent's house and I found a couple of SCDs from 1989. Gary Sheffield was on the cover of one, as he was having a pretty solid rookie year, and I started leafing through it. Towards the back, I saw a small quarter page ad with a guy selling basketball and football cards. 1986 Fleer basketball complete sets, $30.

I just stared at it for about 10 minutes thinking about all the 1989 Topps and Score boxes that I bought and ripped that year.
