More. And I'm finding myself rooting for US athletes, which is a departure from previous Olympics, although I'm sure that's all going to change once the absolutely insufferable US track and field team takes center stage.
  • The Olympics have started?
  • What olympics? Call me when Basketball starts!

I think people watch the olympics just as they watch football, just to say they watched it image 75% of the people watching don't even like it, they just watch it because everybody else does.

Like I said, call me when Basketball starts.

  • more unfortunately, lol but my buddy was over the house and is entranced with the spectacle of the games, so I caved in. I did enjoy the volleyball, sand court and indoor. Always impressed with their skill and athleticism. i also saw a good crash on the womens cycling...yawnnnnn. only thing that made that fun.

The same as expected: approximately 8 seconds of water polo that was on the ill picture box after turning it on and before finding the remote.

  • I tried to watch today but they had womens weight lifting on. Kind of hard to get into a sport that has women with beards that could probably kick my arse.

About the same as I expected, which isn't much at all. Nothing against the Olympics, I just seldom watch T.V.

I voted "more," but that doesn't tell the story. I expected to watch none, but have watched about 30 seconds.

  • Olympic swimming is absolutely one of the best sports to watch visually. Beijing is doing a terrific job so far !!!!!!

    BUT .....

to answer the question about the same so far .........

I do not expect to watch much of it, maybe some basketball and the Phellips guy try to win all those gold medals!
  • That's all we will watch these next 2 weeks. Gotta love random sports 24/7.
  • Definitely more. I hurt my back at work on Thursday so I haven't been able to do as much yard work as I was expecting to. Swimming, Volleyball, Weight lifting and even some badmitten. Very little rowing and no on the soccer, water polo, team handball, tennis or boxing.

Edit: Oh, I forgot, I watched two basketball games today.

More. Swimming is just awesome. The skill and endurance of these athletes are out of sight.

    << <i>The Olympics have started? >>

I didn't know it started. I'm not a hater, just have not been watching tv lately

I didn't expect to watch any of it, but ended up watching most of the opening ceremony.

I've just never been able to generate any interest in the summer games. Now the winter games on the other hand.....

I watch as much of them as I possibly can image
