You're right .... many sigs look dead on!

Their disclaimer is suspicious: "Please bid knowing we cannot answer questions ... blah, blah, blah"

Whenever anyone says that they know nothing about baseball cards .... that's usually a red flag!

These guys are either telling the truth, or they're some of the best sig forgers around!

All positive feedbacks, too .... I'd still pass!

    Lets see...warning flags

1-Bought at auction (therefore able to plausibly deny their origin)
2- Cant answer questions (able to avoid self incrimination)
3- Claims no knowledge (Yet is able to identify team names on many cards where team name doesnt exist)
4- Know when to sell a singular card (ie Pujols and not Pujols and 3 other cardinals)
5- SAME blue ink pen on many of the cards

Plus, looking at his feedback, the only thing he sells is auto baseball cards, you would think if that was his only item, he would at least investigate to find out the true value.

Additionally, it looks as if he is counting on the greed of the buyer to forego the fact that he has no knowledge of baseball cards, but decided to actually BUY this in an auction?

Sorry, but too many things point to the fact that these are not authentic

Add the red flag of several of his auctions being sold and then the same item relisted right away.

Sometimes when a deal is too good to be true it's not true.

I thought eBay had a policy about autographed items that you have to be positive they are real and stand behind them. Is this not the case?

EBAY's #1 policy supercede's the policy of selling fake autos

Policy #1 - Make as much money from auction sales as possible
IT IS ALWAYS CHEAPER TO NOT SELL ON EBAY
  • I see many of them that are forgeries. Be glad you saved your money. A few appear to be legit, but most of them are fakes.
