Graded cards in a PWE?

While preparing my submission, I saw this. So they ship slabs back in a PWE (Plain White Envelope)? Kinda juvenile funny. Like the pic below it.

Kind of funny that they picked such a great card to use as an example!

  • It's hilarious that they pictured THAT card in a GAI holder.....good times.

I always loved how the "C" on the "Regal Cinemas" sign back home always seemed to be blown. At night, with the remaining lights blazing, it made for a good laugh.

GAI- fits my needs for my FF collection. They grade racks and at the time was the only pack slabber. And they properly distinguish the variations, for the most part.

Other companies ie PSA, BGS,SGC lump all the black scribbles as the same and many other issues. I know how everyone perceives GAI but I'm never going to sell my FF collection. I want them protected and being labeled with the specific version looks nice and will help when the memory goes. What was I saying?

I weighed all my options and GAI was my best choice. Well GEM was another and I have used them a few times that 1. card was diamond cut thus not meeting the min size req and 2. I didn't have enough info on the card and GAI rejected it.

There's 13 of you, at last count. I used to collect a few and my buddy (Ryan, the one with that Bill Ripken lot) does/did. ?

I really liked the ghost/Double Die ones and am kicking myself for the racks I passed on that had blank backs showing or baseball and football in the same rack.

A buck each, wow. Cheaper than a One touch. I have some of those self slabbing holders I'm going to use for some of my adult errors.
