Old Timer Board Members

I know I haven't been on here long, but I'm seeing more and more old timer board members (for lack of a better name) coming on here again.
I am here to learn (and hopefully contribute) so for me atleast its good to have members log in again that have alot of knowledge of the hobby.

For some, posting here (or other forums) is about quality, not quantity.
  • im sure thats the case for some folks, but we are seeing quite a few unknowns who dont post about anything rematerialize.

i wouldn't classify me as an Old Timer.

but youth is the object in the rear view mirror that is smaller than it may appear.

Here I am on my day off...

Notice the striking resemblence to Brad Pitt? image

I would say next to Rube who's about 100, I'm the senior statesman here?

I don't know that much but I'll always be glad to help.

    I've been great thank ya.

Collecting baseball boards games, Hartland statues from the 60s, sports related whiskey decanters, doing a T3 and 63F BB set and other odd and end stuff.

Still got my same sig that you made way back when - thank you very much!

    Thanx

I'm not sure if the OP means old-timer by actual age, or old-timer by how long someone has been a member of these forums.

Reading comprehension was a strength of mine back in the day.
I collect Vintage Cards, Commemorative Sets, and way too many vintage and modern player collections in Baseball (180 players), Football (175 players), and Basketball (87 players). Also have a Dallas Cowboy team collection.

What freaks me out is any guy who comes in with 4 posts and a says "Hey look at this big dollar card I just pulled!" I like to think most of us know to stear clear of those types.

This is the longest I've ever been on a forum. I remember "back in the day", but today is pretty good, too. That's why I'm still here. image
