Ebay help !!!!!!!!

About 2 years ago I won a pack from a seller on ebay. The seller at the time did not have a paypal account and only accepted money orders or checks.I mailed him a check and he cashed it.About a week later the seller quit ebay and stiffed a lot of buyers. The sellers name was {alsportscards}.Well,I just noticed the same pack that I won and got stiffed for ,showed up again on ebay. The seller is a new ebayer and has a new name and has a few of high dollar auctions.I tried to find the winning auction ,but I guess that it was to long ago to look up.Does anybody know of a way to find an auction from that long ago,if there is any? Before I blow any whistles,I want to be sure.Thank you.

Don't think it's possible, but could you post a link for us to see the pack in question?

  • yes, please post a link. Im curious at this point.
  • The pack in question is ebay item number 180272860187. I kept all the information for about 1 year and I eventually gave up.But,I do remember that the seller that went naru from ebay back then lives in the same state that this new ebay seller lives.Thats when I said to myself "thats the pack that I got stiffed on ."

The original seller could have sold it locally a couple years ago. This may be the same pack, but it may not be the same seller. In my opinion, if the original seller needed money two years ago so bad that he swindled people, he probably sold the authentic pack for money as well.

  • After 90 or so days the listings are removed from Ebay. The only way to recover them after that is if you happened to save the page somewhere else.

I wont pretend I know how much those may be worth. However they look really nice, so nice that if I wanted them and had the money I would make a deal right away.... as soon as the seller provided me with additional scans.... you know maybe the two items (180272810845 and 180272860187) side by side on a scanner or even a digital photo... unless of course by chance his/her scanner/camera is broke or was borrowed from a friend and he/she can no longer get use of it.....

  • I think that I will win one of their cheaper auctions they have listed and see if it is the same person. If it is not ,then I will just buy it.If it is then I will do the necessary things.

In December 2006, I needed a list of EVERYTHING I had ever bought on EBAY.

The PSer rep gave me a series of instructions that returned a nearly complete list.
(I cannot find the email account that the instructions were sent to; I think I no longer
    have the account.)

Anyway, call EBAY and ask them, "How can I display a list of everything I have bought
on EBAY?" (If you get bad answers, keep moving through supervisors until you get
one who knows what they are doing.)

The list that I got had:

    listing number
    price paid
    item title
    seller's name

The listing itself did not display.

  • Thank you. That sounds like a good plan.Hopefully ebay hasn't changed things too much.
