1967 Topps Baseball Commons - What to do?

Hello Everyone,

I have a consignor who has about 130 "nice" 1967 Topps Baseball low-number commons. I picked out the best cards and sent them in thinking that they would grade at least 8.5 to 9. The rest of the group averages out to a 7.5 if I had to put my finger on it.

After doing some analysis, it does not seem to be worth it to send them in (or am I wrong?) With the amount of time tied up, along with the grading fees and shipping it adds too much value to the cards. I do a lot of eBay, and they do not sell that high.

Would I be best in buying them real cheap and taking the shot myself, or should I just offer them as a "starter set?" If I choose the latter option, how much is realistic per card given the above parameters?

Thanks,

Greg

P.S. I have some nice PSA Cards up on eBay right now. Here's a link to my auctions:

First of all, I do not appreciate the spam reference from whomever made it. I run an honest and up-front operation.

Second, I am primarily a coin dealer who used to be in the sportscard business, and all I was looking for was some advice on the subject.

Third, my eBay ID is "gynandroidhead" The other link did not work because the "http" was in there twice. Hopefully, this one does.

    Thanks,

    HCMAN:

Welcome to the boards... your question was fine till you tried to pimp your own auctions... many users do not like to see new members post that kind of stuff - there is another PSA message board for that.

As for your question I would not grade anything less than what you think is a 8. Chances are you're probably miss grading a lot of cards anyway that will turn out to be 6's, and you are right it's not worth your time or money.

Not sure I understand your point?

I would not PS an Ebay link in the coin forum.

I will not link auctions to a message again. I just wanted to give you folks an idea of the kind of stuff I had.

Sorry if I offended anyone. Thanks for the advice.
