FSH: 1795 50c VG-10. O-107a. R-5

small mark under chin should not keep this out of a PCGS holder if you want it slabbed. They are very forgiving of marks on early coinage. Original surfaces $1350. Heritage just sold an unarractive cleaned fine detail O-107a for $1840. O-107a has the reverse bisected by a die crack from 2 o'clock to 8 o'clock. Paypal for quick transaction and overnight shipping included. 3 day return as long as coin not removed from holder and you email me to let me know. My postage cost not refundable (approx. $20 for overnight).

1.) Is it an "X" image

2.) This almost comes across a guarantee that it will walk right into a PCGS holder image

  • The mark is crossed but very small (Looks like an x) Can't gaurantee but there are much bigger sratches and x's in holders. Here a $6K NGC 1795 O-107a with a large X obv. and rev. scrape Take a look at the larger photo (sign in) that X ain't that faint.

It's always nice to see a TPG service like NGC is an equal opportunity employer of blind graders! imageimage

  • These kind of problems on early coins can be found in PCGS also. How many 179? anything would be in holders if they didn't slab cleaned or problem? How many are truely problem free? I would be very surprised if PCGS wouldn't slab this coin.

pcgs is known to be the strictest of all the grading companies specifically for this reason!
thats why there is such a premium on their coins! pcgs= problem free
may the fonz be with you...always...
