I went back (yet again) at the PCGS booth to gawk at Stewart's coins, and there was another guy there checking them out. We just started talking about how amazing they were. I pointed to the breathtaking 1938 proof, he looked at it and he asked me who owned the coins - did PCGS own them all? Stewart was sitting right there (literally two feet away), and I pointed and said "He owns them - Stewart Blay." The guy turns to Stewart and says "Duuude!"
Maybe you had to be there, but the guy packed a lot of meaning into the way he said it.
New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.
It's one thing to know he has the coins. To actually SEE them is another matter!
Great display and hats off to LMS - It's one great collection.
"My friends who see my collection sometimes ask what something costs. I tell them and they are in awe at my stupidity." (Baccaruda, 12/03).I find it hard to believe that he (Trump) rushed to some hotel to meet girls of loose morals, although ours are undoubtedly the best in the world. (Putin 1/17) Gone but not forgotten. IGWT, Speedy, Bear, BigE, HokieFore, John Burns, Russ, TahoeDale, Dahlonega, Astrorat, Stewart Blay, Oldhoopster, Broadstruck, Ricko.

This isi a dubious achieveement award if I've ever seen one.
It was fun meeting you goldgully, although you're no more a bully than I'm a Saint.
SB's collection was simply a display of perfection. It lookied like someone took a few rolls of feshly minted pennies and just slabbed them all. Every one was superb.
Hats off to those from this board who I ran into. It's always nice to see people who you have been reading posts of. As for the "topless" pic that was from another forum in response to the accusation that I looked fat in a picture and I was not gonna take that. Now I may not be in the kind of shape I was at 40 but for 54 I'll take a bow for staying relatively athletic.

He sure seemed to know some interesting facts about Stewart's copper, but then he knows a lot of stuff doesn't he.
BTW, he actually had the nerve to show me 4 of his spectacular Saints right on Stewart's display case. OMG, I've never seen nicer looking gold.
Classic crust on those babies.....just lovely. Key dates and top graded by PCGS.
One had a sticker on it....I said many of us on the forum make jokes about those stickers.
Boy, what a reaction I got from him......he is a total believer in CAC.......I hope he chimes in on that front.
I couldn't help but to agree with his "Saintly" logic.
Now I understand why the man is the "King of all Saints!"

So. Who is Mr. Stewart Copper? I'm not certain why Mr. Guru's admiration of Mr. Copper is news worthy. It sounds personal. What about the coins?
I suppose next he'll be drooling over clad copper.
Funny, but ruthless.
