Game used cards :(?

I am not a big fan of most modern day game used cards. They seem to be a dime a dozen now. They seem to have no real value unless you get a Hof'er. I have been disapointed so many times when I first open the pack and can t make out what the card is yet. 99% of the time it seems to be a player i've never heard of or a stupid piece of jersey that probably hasn't even been worn by the player. I do like the autos but they seem to be alot more difficult to pull then a GU. Am I the only one who feels this way or does anyone have any oppinions on GU insert card?

Some love them, some like you dont. Better than an insert numbered to 20,0000.

I agree with that. I just think the market is flooded with these swatches of no name players and it takes alot of excitement out of getting a card of this magnatudel

I think what they did in the early days, which was one top name player every couple of boxes made it exciting. Of course, now there still is a top name player every couple of boxes, but you get the Bronson Arroyo patch in every other pack now.
