1968 Topps Pack

Any chance this is a legitimate pack.

I'm always trying to learn.1968 Topps

  • Zero chance. The layout of the auction is identical to the fool that kept selling 1968 and 1969 packs with Mantle on top until he got banned. It is nothing more than a bunch of commons wrapped in cellophane and sealed with a heat gun or hair dryer.

I am surprised it went so little as your guaranteed at least a EX Rocky Colovito and a LL card.
Currently completing the following registry sets: Cardinal HOF's, 1961 Pittsburgh Pirates Team, 1972 Pittsburgh Pirates Team, 1980 Pittsburgh Pirates Team, Bill Mazeroski Master & Basic Sets, Roberto Clemente Master & Basic Sets, Willie Stargell Master & Basic Sets and Terry Bradshaw Basic Set
  • A grossly miscut Colavito with round corners and a mangled LL card. I will gladly sell you the same cards for $12 + shipping.
  • Interesting way to describe the item up for bid -- it's barely described as a pack (just as the identity of the product); generally, it's just 12 cards in a vintage wrapper:

    "1968 Topps 12 baseball cards"

"1968 Topps 12 baseball cards in vintage wrapper."

Seems like the packaging would make it misleading, but the description would seem to be mostly accurate.

This loser keeps reinventing himself every couple of months with a new ID. He's gone through at least 4-5 over the last 6 months.

So I guess the moral of this story is to stick with graded packs? Shoot, I've already decided when I begin my 60s sets in the 2010s, I'm doing all HOFers and checklists in PSA 6. This way I can be sure the cards are all the real deal and not trimmed. Not to mention 6's are pretty reasonably affordable.
