What gets you excited about this modern stuff over spending all that money on one solid old card from an old time HOFer?

    Cool cards,

B Cal, uh?? Does that give him some kind of street cred??

The same can be said about that dusty old hall of famer. Everyone has a right to buy and collect what they like no sense in questioning it or telling them they are wrong.

Thanks for coming to my defense LMM and LCs

Not really sure what Jeff is asking. My statement about an addiction was somewhat in jest. I do collect the new stuff because I like the thrill of the chase as much as the next guy, but I have purchased older stuff to rip, as well. I did a live rip about a year ago on some '72 OPC, which resulted in 5 PSA 9's (Clemente) and some great PSA 8's (Bench IA) and, my PSA collection runs the gammut (from '52 Topps to the new stuff). I like it all! I guess to some degree, we all have an addiction to this hobby, mainly because it keeps us off the streets!

It is a great hobby, doggone shame it is so expensive, though!!

It is an awesome hobby, and I wasn't saying that you were wrong buying what you are. I think that's great. That's why I love sports cards, everyone finds there own niche and collect what they like. Heck, if everyone collected what I collect I wouldn't have half of the cards I do have.

    Awesome cards!
