1979 Topps Cello RIIPPP - live (almost)

I bought a Topps '79 cello from Dave & Adams on my lunch break today. I had absolutely no self control & ripped it at work. So, it's live for you, but not for me. Oh yeah, it was $18.29 + tax.

    That is the ugliest set of the 70's. I opened a few in the last group rip - ugh...and the QC guys at Topps must have been drunk that year

    Definitely not a popular set, but very undervalued, IMO. Definitely one of the very toughest of all 70s issues to find centered, even tougher, to some degree than the 75 minis. When you pull a PSA 10, it's a thing of beauty, though.


    Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.

    Right on target, Vito. The cards are ugly and they're the worst-centered bunch I've ever had the pleasure(?) of collecting. Let's not forget about the notorious Bump Wills Blue Jays version which made it's way past QC.

    79 Topps football was horribly centered too. Same QC team obviously.
