Homerun Derby

Do you think whoever wins the HR derby, that their cards will spike enough for it to be a good time to sell?
Or what about players that do well in the All Star Game?

BTW, is there anyway you can do a home run derby on a baseball video game...using the original 1959 Home Run Derby rules (9 innings a player, three outs an inning; called strikes count as outs)?

For the Derby, I think it would take one of them hitting 100 dingers or so, but then, who knows?
Same thing for the All Star Game, someone would have to break a record.
Even then, I doubt if it would be enough for a noticable spike to sell for profit.

<< <i>It almost makes me want to collect the Home Run Derby card set... if it wasn't so expensive... >>
The All Star Game HR Derby has only been going on since 1985, so that set is pretty affordable. I'm doing the rookie set for it.

I agree that the fans should vote for the Homerun Derby hitters.
The home team should have at least one player in it and if they decline they should be ridiculed in their own media and forced to wear a dress during the game.
All of the BP pitchers should be hot softball chicks with really short shorts and tight shirts and a minimum of 38 DD.
I'll go with this final 4 in the HR Derby tonight: Hamilton, Berkman, Morneau & Sizemore
