Looking for 1972 through 1980 Fleer Football Cloth patches, stickers and cards

I'm trying to upgrade my raw 70's Fleer sets. I'm looking for (strong centered) NM+ and better for the 1972 through '76 sets ... and (strong centered) NM/MT+ and better for the 1977 through 1980 sets. Raw or graded is fine. I have some to trade from most years, or can purchase out right if you prefer. Please PM or e-mail with what you have available.
Thanks - Mike

I have a set and bunch of extras of the 1980 Fleer Football (there are approx 150 extras, so a near set is very likely). As PSA collectors we all scrutinize the quality of a card (edges, corners, centering, surface, etc.), but these cards have nearly none of that. They are different sizes, corners are ok at best, centering is all over the map...the gloss looks good, though.

I am keeping one set, but you are welcome to the rest. PM me if interested.

Not so much ... because the sets seem to take a back seat to all of the other mainstream football sets from that decade. Not having individual player cards really hurt the interest level in the sets.

I personally think they're neat looking cards, and the sets are much more difficult to put together (in high grade) than most people think. The '72 through '76 years are often stained, or the gum has melted in the packs ruining everything. The cloth patches tend to separate from their backings, and the centering is all over the place.

The late 70's and early 80's sets are a little better quality wise ... but a few of those years are difficult because they must have had some new guy working the cutter. Diamond cuts, over sized cards, and OC cards are more the norm. On a couple of those years, you're pretty lucky if you get two minty centered cards out of a wax pack. They also short printed some color variations on the sticker inserts, which makes for some difficult chase cards to complete your set.
