    Don what do you make of this card? It looked real to me and the auto looked like ballpoint pen. I have never heard about any borderless number ones being released.

    im not sure where he got them, but he said pete signed a bunch of them for him..never got how he got the cards.. but that is the borderless card that is the auto in the set we bought.. i sold one of these ebay cards and the auto'ed with the set of cards for $80.. don

    I won that auction for the price I would have paid for a borderless card alone. It is strange- maybe he worked for Renata Galasso???

    So he had 1 signed as proof all the others are authentic? Sounds pretty scammish to me.

    DaddyRich- The story does sound iffy but the only way to get a borderless card number one card from the set is to buy a autographed set. Maybe he worked for RenataG or it is a backdoor copy. SCD big book says the borderless cards were all auto'd and limited to 1000 so who knows?

    So, he had 1 signed as proof all the others are authentic? No, he had the cards signed back in rhe day, This auction is too strange for me. IMO this seller left mass diinero on the table.
