Anyone able to give me some info on these cards?

I purchased a long black and gold box that is very well made and sturdy. Inside the box on one side it says BASEBALL IMMORTALS SMITHSONIAN INSTITUTION. ON the other side of the cards are these pictures, which appear to be on each card.

The cards are sealed. The box looks like a longer jewelry box and is really heavy and well made. I wasn't able to find any info on the cards. Anyone know?
Thanks
Michael

There is a two card set listed on Beckett website called "1973 Smithsonian Museum Playing Cards"

    Checklist:
    #1 Lou Gehrig
    #2 Babe Ruth
I collect Vintage Cards, Commemorative Sets, and way too many vintage and modern player collections in Baseball (180 players), Football (175 players), and Basketball (87 players). Also have a Dallas Cowboy team collection.
