A Public Thanks To CDsNuts and a couple others!!!!

Good Day,
Now that the deal is done and over I would like to voice my Thanks!!!
One of the reason's I got off the sidelines (And started participating) after watching these boards for a couple of years was the knowledge that I get by doing so. And the interaction that this brings.
Anyway, recently I was at quandry on what to do with a rather Big ticket item that I had. After much internal debate I chose to ask a few of what I consider the experts on these boards for there advice. I contacted Lee, during the day, with a long winded question about this item and lo and behold within an hour I had an equally long and well thought out answer. (Which brings up a totally different subect: Doesn't this guy have a job?? What is he doing sitting around his house able to answer a message within this time frame??? Are we independently wealthy??)
Anyway I degress, So Lee doesn't know me except from a few interactions on these boards and he took the time to think this subject through and answer me with a literate pro and con on what I wanted to do. For that I want to say Thank You. Seriously!!! The input helped me to make my decision which I now know was the best I could have ever done!!!!!
Kudos Lee!!!!
Also thanks to Winpitcher and Morrellman for also offering their advice.!!!!
Neil

I thought I read on the internet something about Lee a few months ago. It was saying he was one of the 2 original financial backers for the PSA Sports when they first started business. I'm not sure if he sold out or if he is silent. Maybe someone else can chime in?? image

Yeah, CD knows what he is talking about. The meatball sub is definitely the way to go....well, that or a club.
Collecting PSA graded Steve Young, Marcus Allen, Bret Saberhagen and 1980s Topps Cards.
Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.

    good advice.

I think he spends all of his time at the local library on a freebie computer eating vending machine snack food and reading books on witticism that he can then reuse in his message board rants. image Seriously, Lee knows what he's doing, particularly on vintage and near vintage basketball - guy is an expert.

No problem, glad the sale went well. I actually learned a lot about the non-sports market during our back and forth.

Honestly, I play poker online all day and I'm out of websites to search while playing (severe ADD), so I spend most of my distraction time surfing youtube, checking email and coming here. I click refresh more times while on this site in an hour than I care to admit. So in a manner of speaking, no I don't have a job and I'm constantly online so my lightning quick responses are a byproduct of me having no life. Tragically, I am not independently wealthy as many suspect.

Also, +1 for a thread praising me for all of my fine qualities. Sure I eat kittens and throw things at old ladies, but you guys don't know that.

The more important question is why are you not in Vegas playing in the main event, man? Too big a field with not enough reward for that 10K buy in?

I've never played the main event because I think my chances are better playing a handful of mid-buyin tourneys with that money. I'll try ot satellite in every now and then, but the main event is a such a losing prop overall.
  • I like Lee because he pees on Duke.
