1989 Score Aikman Questionable Authenticity

So, I got an Aikman that came back Q/A. No scan available now. What should I look for when the card comes back?
Looking to have some custom cuts or plain custom cards built? PM me.

Is this a 1989 Score auto card or just a regular Score rc?

I wasn't aware of counterfiets for this card but nothing surprises me.

Do you have another one you can compare the weight to?

I'm surprised someone would bother counterfeiting that card. No offense to Aikman/Cowboys/1989 Score football fans, of course.

+1 for Estil making a post that doesn't mention any cards he owns.

I found out this so far...lol

<< <i>How can you tell if a 1989 Score Troy Aikman (card #270) is a counterfeit?

Your Best Bet is to take a scan of your card and send it to beckett. They can tell you.if you knew what the real one looked like or could get ahold of one you should be able to tell the difference.Get a magnifying glass and look for flaws.Like things missing from the card on front or back. Why do you think it might be counterfeit.
More than likely not though. This card is only valued at 25.00.Counterfeiters usually go for higher priced cards.
    Hope This hepls

    thank you >>

Awesome, thanks much. Now just to wait to get it back so I can weigh it on the wife's kitchen scale.

Yup, and you won't need another one to compare the weight to since they give you the weight in the article.

My book says to look at the number 270 on the back, that if it is a solid red it might be real but if it has a 270 made of red print dots it's a fake.

I don't know a lot of people with kitchen scales that go to tenths of grams, maybe the guy on the corner can help with that. image

Thats a good point, I will have to check that out. But, if not, I can take it to work to weigh it down to tenths of a milligram. Hmmm...finally, a benefit to being a chemist.

You know what really is happening here don't you? You're a Redskins fan. You are not worthy of any Cowboy's cards.

Feel free to send them all to me. Except of course that fake one image

Urinate on the card and if it turns purple that means it is real.

All Cowpie cards should be urinated on or ground up and snorted like the Dal-ass players do.

Matt, I don't think Dexter could ever say that sentence, let alone write it.
