he's scheduled to pitch tuesday against our 'ace' Verlander. neither have been ace material this year, but both still have their stuff! kinda hoping we don't have to mess with him as he seems to be finding his rhythm! he should have took the $18mill per year. laughing at him now! wow i hate greed, but that's what rules the game.....and the world.

edited to say that card must be tumbling in value this year! time to buy his rookies is NOW! just because the Indians have been underwhelming and giving him minimal support doesn't mean he's warshed......Playing for a contending team will do him good; his wins will rise and he'll get upwards of 250 K's.......

It is not much fun watching the tribe this year, they just can not hit! Especially when C.C. is pitching. 11 games where the tribe scored 2 runs or less!!!! He could just as easily be 10-4 or better instead of 6-8. It doesn't help that our bullpen can't hold a lead anymore either....

Being a padres fan, I can't sympathize with any other fans, well maybe mariner fans (LOL)....

Doubt it. Fielder gets arbitration next year I believe, so that'll be a decent chunk. Who knows though. Sheets seems determined to test free agency next year, so if CC's willing to play for the Brewers instead of doing the same, I suppose it's possible.

  • both sheets and CC will be free agents. The Brewers are making a serious push to go deep this post season.

When I saw this I got excited since I am going to the Brewers Game on Thrusday and was hoping to see him. As a Cub fan I hope he doesnt have much of an affect but he can only help. The Brewers are on a roll as it is and adding CC cant do anything but help (I guess he can hit too). I don't see them resigning him after the season unless he wants to take a major pay cut.
