All I Did This Weekend Was Surf Ebay For Cards ... As I Recovered From Pneumonia ...

I left work this past Wednesday morning felling quite ill. Went to doctor on Thursday and was advised I had pneumonia, fever, cough, chest cold, etc. I spent the next four (4) days doing nothing but surfing ebay/sports pages as I was confined to bed. I think I went crazy seeing all those cards. So many "worthless" cards and a gem here and there. Even now I'm not fully recovered and will be out of the office another day. Being sick sucks. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I need to get back to praciting law.

    Sorry to hear about the pneumonia. I had it pretty bad once.

    Thanks for the well wishes. My pneumonia is almost gone. That's good. But now, I can't stop coughing. That's bad. image One more day out of the office. (Thank heavens I don't work for one of the "big" firms. Otherwise, I'd probably be getting calls from the senior partner.)

    I hope you are feeling much better and be sure to listen to the Dr.
    That's what my father died of 20 years ago at the age of 48 because he didn't take it serious enough.

    Hope you get to feelin' better. Pneumonia will kick your arse if you don't take care of it. Why does it seem like when you get sick in the summer time it's usually pretty bad? I work with a guy that came down with menigitis(or however you spell it) and he is still off work, going on 10 days now. I had a sinus infection last week and it took seven days to get rid of and I had to miss a couple of days of work. The doctor wanted me to take all off last week off but I couldn't afford it.
