That really doesnt cut it, that statement is at the bottom of the page and he obviously knew he had made a mistake yet he didn't change the title or the picture. Yes I think anyone with common sense would think that he is trying to scam people

Once the bids start, the seller is limited as to the changes he can make.
He should have cancelled the listing, and relisted the correct card.

I don't know the exact timeline, but there is a point at which the title can not be changed nor pictures added once an auctioned item has been bid upon. Not to play devil's advocate, but perhaps the seller was unable to make such changes. This has happened to me in one of my auctions. I had listed a lot of, say, 100 cards which later grew to 105. The lot already had bids so the system would not allow me to change the title to 105. I had to add it to the description in the same manner as this seller did.
Edited to say that I agree with storm888, always the voice of reason on these boards.
Here, let's take the camera a little out of focus so we can't really see the card that well and hope nobody notices that my card has almost no borders !!!
Any team on any given Sunday, can beat any other team...unless they were playing the Miami Dolphins in 1972.
Ya you would like that wouldnt you? I don't know who you are more obsessed with me or Gary. You have a really weird sexual crush on both of them and forgive me but I am very creeped out.
Yes I celebrate my 101th post with a statement: I have achieved what no one else has achieved on these boards, verbal abuse by half of the members in this forum, being accused of being a person I have never heard of, being threatened to be kicked off the forum permantely, anything you would like to add LSU my #1 fan?
The celebration of your 100th post!!! COOL!!! You are the 1st board member in the history of the board to get to 100 posts without having one meaningful or insightful post. You may want to take it down a notch (only advice, don't take it too personally). This is a community of PSA/Sports collectors, some with great knowledge about the hobby. If you just want to rant or put useless posts on the board just for the he|| of it, then this may not be the forum for you. Add something intriguing to the boards and don't come across like a high schooler jacked up on Red Bull and you will get a lot more respect...I promise.
I had numerous scholarship offers out of H.S. but stuck with my roots and went to LSU. Drank my way out of there, too many good looking women and easy access to liquor.
Ya you sure sound like you were highly qualified for A&M alright, pretty sure you applied to A&M were rejected then went to LSU because all you need is a pulse to get in there or a blood/alchohol lvl higher than you GPA which is very common there
Thank you LSU I will accept that, it is our finest traditions and quite a spectacle to see. I really hope you didn't mean to make fun of the 12 who died because I knew at least 8 of them and 2 of them were my good friends. These are all playful arguments but that crosses the line I mean what kind of person would make fun of 12 college kids who died just before they went home to their families during Thanksgiving, a person who would do that is truelly sick
ok I thought so, I have received a lot of crap about the bonfire accident and it would really make me teary eyed. Thanks for not crossing the line, now time to watch some fireworks. Happy 4th of July!
Sounds like AragorntheBold needs to learn about selling on eBay too. Maybe he'll end up with the same fate as the few others that came to this board and made an a$$ out of themselves.
Nope I know all about selling on eBay and no I am not an a$$ but thanks for the compliment. The reasons I said he was a scammer was he could have changed or neded the auction when he realized his mistake but intead he waited until the very end of his sales pitch to say btw I made a mistake.
Thanks again for the complients, they are really helping
His comment about making a mistake was after the first bid was made. By then he could not change anything. All he could do was add to the description with an edit post. Good thing you know all about selling on eBay.
Looks like Gary got bored resealing 1989 Fleer and 1975 Topps minis. As usual, we'll weather this storm and he'll get himself tossed again in due time. In the mean time, let's stop feeding the troll.
<< <i>LSU are you aware that you can end an auction at any time???? You sure know a lot about eBay.
Also after my first 100 posts I know have 2 names, my actual one and this scamming, cheating, loser named Gary. Thanks again guys for the warm welcome >>

You're starting to remind me of someone (see pic below) with your pre-school nonsensical replies and supposedly-on-purpose misspelling, which after 50 posts is getting absurdly old and lame ....

Don't think for a second that the bidders of this auction didn't realize what they were bidding on.
The winner, jeddrinkwine, sells nothing but vintage in his store.
Anybody dumb enough to think that they were bidding on a 1957 NAMATH card would deserve whatever they got!
Namath was 14 years old in 1957.
This seller's feedback is all over the board ... hard to tell if he's a douche ... a few problems .... a few successes!
Is this one of those rares 1957 Topps Minis?

Just had to reply to this. This statement coming from a guy that actually thought he was going to get $15k worth of graded Mantle cards for $2500.
