New cards purchased?

I wanted an oppinion on what you think these two cards would be worth. I just bought them and I'm not sure if I got a good deal. Can you also give me your .02 on what the Wilt would grade out as, as well as what it is worth. I will tell you what i got them for after I get some responses. Thanks

Looks like two 5's, with Wilt having a 50/50 shot at a 4 because of the upper right corner.

Edited to add: 2 AM is a tough time to get responses.

The payton I payed $114 and the Wilt I payed $20. I don't agree with you guys on the payton grading as a 5. I was thinking more of a 6 or 6.5, but I could be wrong. Thanks for the imput
  • The Payton looks like a 5 to me too. Three of the four corners look fuzzy and top to bottom centering is bad. Maybe bad enough for an OC qualifier.

Payton will probably pull a straight PSA 6 and the Wilt is a PSA 4. Can't see them any other way.

Depends on the card and price. You do know 2 things about BCCG cards though they are most likely not trimmed and are real.

I though BCCG did not grade anything before 1980? If you look at the Beckett site and look at BCCG submission page it says nothing before 1980, but I see cards all the time that are older.

Are cards coming back trimmed a big problem? I have autographs come back unauthenticated all the time that i got in person. It is very anoying.

I think you might have over paid on the payton but got an ok deal on the Wilt. I really think the payton is a 5 but it's not my opinion that counts image

You can almost be sure that a BCCG card would come back 1 to 2 grades lower if graded by PSA.
