Need help on a Goudey

I ran across this 1933 Goudey Mel Ott and have some questions for CU members.

1) Is it authentic? What should I look for to determine authenticity?
2) What grade would it receive from PSA?

Thanks in advance for your help!

    Looks good to me.

    Probably a 1.5 or a 2.

    Its authentic.

One way for newbies to tell is the wetsheet transfer on the back. (printing left on the back from the sheet directly below it when they stacked the newly printed sheets). Very common with R319 cards. Besides that it has all the normal characteristics of an authentic card too, no flags.

Id say PSA-2 because of the corner wear, dirt, and the slight surface problems on the front. If it has a heavy crease which I cant see, it might be a 1.

Looks real, if it measures properly I would say 2-3 range.

    100% Authentic...

Certainly doesn't look trimmed image ... but measure anyway!

I'd say a 1.5 - 2 max ... looks like a couple of specks of paper loss on the front.

Looks like a 1 (paper loss and horizontal crease). I've purchased a few Goudeys in the 1-2 grade and they look like a 75 year old card should. I actually think the corners look "experienced", not worn.

The card appears authentic and given the two small areas of apparent paper loss on the front and the visible horizontal crease, I would expect it to grade PSA 2. If there are tears to the surface within the front crease, you may see a PSA 1.5. It presents very well, and I have seen uglier Goudeys in PSA 3s...

Thanks for the information and opinions everyone. What are recent sales for a PSA 1 or 2?
I have checked ebay and the lowest graded one I have seen is a PSA 3 for $300 BIN.
