Is it common to have a "D Minted Coin" mixed w/ a "S Minted Coins" inside its packaging?

    I've seen 1969 mint sets with a Denver quarter instead of a Philly. The dime
    and a cent were the only P mints in the pakage.

    I've got a 1971 mint set that has two "s" coins.

    I don't think they command a premium.

    Common is a relative term.

    I've seen enough to make a fairly reasonable guess as to availability
    and would put it at a mintage of about 1800.

    My heart will skip a couple beats when I first spot one of these since
    it looks as though I've finally found a Philly quarter with nice surfaces.
    Then it sinks when it turns out to be a mere packaging error.
