When someone makes a guarentee on an "as-is" product like this, he's basically asking you to trust him. What's his reputation?

Ask for pictures of the box to make sure it wasn't tampered with or damaged.

Is this the one you are thinking about buying?
I collect Vintage Cards, Commemorative Sets, and way too many vintage and modern player collections in Baseball (180 players), Football (175 players), and Basketball (87 players). Also have a Dallas Cowboy team collection.

yes I'am but I don't know if I want to bid on that item or not...Do use think there be any value to the set down the road. I know I seen people pay $800.00 like a few yrs ago but then it drop big time. what y'all take on it?

Barry Bonds rookie was the main card of value in that set. With his downfall, the prices have been falling badly.

Buying this set now is NOT an investment.

I've given up on doing any speculation for future values of mid-1980's cards. If you are a set collector, and no one else bids against you, this seems like a nice deal (compared to the Buy-It-Now sets currently for sale on eBay--which range from $350-$999). If you are looking at it simply as an investment--I will let others make suggestions/recommendations.

Good luck if you bid on that one--the seller seems legit to me based on his feedback. He takes Paypal also--so that is good.
