Returning Trimmed Cards on eBay

As a buyer, if I bought a card about 50 days ago on eBay that came back from PSA as trimmed, will Paypal stand behind me if I try to return the card to seller at this point? The description did not guarantee authenticity or that it was untrimmed and had a 3 day return policy, but I still feel like I deserve my money back. I did already leave a positive feedback but could add a comment beneath.
Please chime in with your experiences and what recourse I have if any--I know many of you have been on the short end of buying a trimmed card. Pun intended.

I have absolutely zero (0%) experience in your scenario, but my gut instinct is that you will have a very difficult getting your money back. That is, unless the seller has a kind heart.

I believe most of the sellers refunded my money. I've had a couple that did not
because they justified whatever reason......
Unless the paypal window is still open to file item not as described,
I think you're out of luck unless they seller has a kind heart as Jack indicated.
The fact that the description states that he did not guarantee authenticity or that
it was untrimmed is indicative of something being wrong right off the bat. The 3 day
return policy is unrealistic (another red flag) if you deem it counterfeit or trimmed. Meaning you would of
had to have it authenticated within 24 hrs, and express mail it back to him.
Can we have a link to the auction and see who the seller is?
Depending on when you posted positive feedback for him, leaving additional comments
may not be seen if he's accumlated many more feedbacks within 50 days. Good luck.
If you used a credit card to fund the PayPal transaction, your
credit card company will likely side with you in a chargeback
for "Significantly Not As Described" merchandise.
Any EBAY listing that does not explicitly disavow a promise
that a collectible item is authentic/unaltered is a TOS violation,
if the item is found to be fake/fixed.
The challenge is that your seller likely/possibly had no idea
the card was altered. That is a defense to a notice of an EBAY
"policy violation," but not a defense to a credit-card chargeback.
IF the seller is reputable, he should cooperate with you. IF he
will not solve the problem, poor feedback may be in order. (You
can comment under your POS FB.)
