Political cards thread

Do they make a thread go POOF if it has anything remotely close to politics? People mentioning gas taxes and health care goes poof? Come on moderator. Give us a little lee way here. Or did it go poof just because it was sort of a joke thread? Anyway, just curious about what the value is of cards of politicians. You know like the old Topps Desert Storm George Bush. If the plane ran off the runway at the Burbank Airport (as opposed to the OC - John Wayne Airport) the plane might run into the building holding Jay Leno's car collection as I believe it is next to the Burbank Airport.

I think he actually owns a hanger to house them AT the airport. Every so often I see him driving down Buena Vista Street or Hollywood Way in some super-cool old car. You can always tell hits him by the weird car. He always waves at people. Seems to enjoy showing off his collection...in a way, not unlike Perkdog and BigDaddyBowman

Yes, you can discuss the collecting of political cards or autographs but keep it to that topic.
While this board hasn't been as bad as the other, this is what it will lead to if it doesn't.

Seriously though, all political related collectibles are gonna do is get stantheman and others wound up about how good it was when XY president was in the white house and how we're on the verge of anarchy if YZ candidate gets elected.

Larry you might want to try shooting Publius ( joe ) a PM, I know he collects presedential auto's he might be able to offer you some more info.

Political conversations are not allowed in these forums. There are many places on the web for you all to argue your point other than here.

Going forward anyone contributing to a political post or one that has turned that way will have their account deleted.
That includes the +1 guys or popcorn guys who bring it to the top. It will not matter who starts it, baits you or if you post in it to say stop it (which just brings it to the top), tell them to stop in a PM or walk away.

It will not matter how long you have been here or if it’s your first time participating in a topic such as this.

If you start a post and it turns political walk away and send a moderator a PM.
