You may want to chill a bit on the tone and the language.

It's not really wise to take a leak in the tub before you slide in.

Just a suggestion, so take it for what it is worth.

Wow, real impressive first impression of a "newbie"...that is of course if he really is a "newbie". You dont happen to have a Ruth graded by GAI, do you?

$100.00 shipping on your "SMOKEN STARS AND ROOKIES!!!" lot? I suppose that is a Beckett price for shipping and is negotiable, too. And don't try to say that 10 sets and 50 singles cost that much to send...

And one last question, if the 1989 Bowman Factory Set is sealed, how does it contain a "pack fresh Griffey Jr. RC ready for grading?" Wouldn't that be a set fresh cards that MAY be suitable for grading?

After viewing your auctions, I don't blame LSU for going off on you.
  • Hey RC,

Just a few comments on your original post...

    - You might want to consider file compression software to shrink the file size of your pictures so that you can post them here or send by email (no one wants to receive huge files by email). BTW, you are "uploading" your files to this site, not "downloading" them.
    - Including delivery in your asking prices is the normal way of selling cards on this forum. Your shipping prices quoted here (and on eBay) are a bit high. This may be why your eBay seller rating on shipping and handling is so low. You should be able to ship these six cards inside holders with cardboard backing in a postal bubble pack for $3.00 or less by first-class mail (including DC).
    - It would be helpful to include an estimate of the condition of your ungraded cards. If someone is interested in a "near mint" card, sending a picture of one in "very good" condition is a waste of their time.
    - Please turn off the "caps". It is just poor etiquette for the forum, email, etc. Leaving a space between sentences would make for better reading.

And lighten up on the "guardians" on this site. As a newbie myself, they have been very accommodating in answering my questions.
