  • Mere ignorance on the bidders part. No other way to explain it, really. It pays to look around, before bidding blindly.

Stores are mostly "invisible" to many buyers; especially new buyers.

yep.. for sure.. I think most people don't even know stores exist
  • LMAO
considering the title and description both have $120 in it
kudos to the seller, he must be one happy camper

edit: or asking himself, " Do these guys know something I don't know?"
  • The seller has the same card in his store for $98
  • I see this happen all the time. Someone will bid much more than a BIN of the same grade in a store. I know all "grades" aren't the same, but it happens way too much.

  • 4SC is notorious for this.

Buy the same card for $50 or for $5? Hmmmmmmmmmmm.

  • It happens all the time just the nature of Ebay. I have sold identical items with a 99 cent opening bid one will end with 15 to 20 bids and reach 30 dollars and the other one go with no bids.
  • most of the time the stores are way over priced, but sometimes when a player is hot, their cards go up, but the stores dont adjust their price. I don't typically even look at the stores, unless a players cards have gone up a lot recently, and then many times you can cash in. i have done this a few times, most recently with chipper jones and nate mclouth...those are done now though...who's next to spike? AROD is hot lately, and his cards have gone up since he came back.

There are 3 different bidders at $200 and above.
  • I had a card recently that I wanted at least $11 for. I listed a fixed price auction at $15 with a best offer. I got no offers and it did not sell. I then listed it starting at .99 and it sold for $16.
