Gotta just love Ebay sometimes

Spent about 150.00 at the local Wal-Marts on some action figures yesterday. I have already sold over half of them via BIN for over 300.00. The other 4 that are left should bring another 100.00. May just go do that again today if I can find the right stuff.

I would buy as much of those action figures you can afford. I did something similiar last year and was making a nice profit but when I went back to Wal-Mart a few days later to buy more the shelf was empty and the product never came back up again.

Thought for sure I had a nice income supplement. Oh Well.

    No, it's the laziness factor...

E-Bayziness: When you see something you want on E-Bay, and you know you can get it cheaper at Walmart, yet you bid anyway because a) you're too lazy to get in the car just for that, and b) even if you WERE at the store you'd probably forget to buy it, if they even had it in stock when you went.
  • thats awesome...

  • what figures were you selling?
  • If you see them look for the Movie Master Joker Figures from the new Batman Movie they sell at Wal-Mart for about 12.00 and sell on Ebay from 35.00 to 60.00. That is the big one to look for right now. There are many others that will make you a solid 4.00 to 7.00 profit.

If you can find a Marvel Super Hero squad Beast and Iceman 2 pack or the Spiderman Vulture set from the same line you can make some nice coin there too, but those are almost totally dried up on the retail level.

Bakugan is another one I have made alot of change on. Buy a figure for 4.97 sell it for 25 to 30.00

The GI Joe 25th anniversary lines and Star Wars lines still have a few gems in them, but you have to get them early.
  • That is amazing how that works, i guess you need a special eye for picking out those figures. If i tried that i would probably lose money

I tried that with some NASCAR items, and gave up. I returned them to Walmart, because with fees and increased postage, I was going to barely break even.

Hard to believe anything you can buy at Wal-Mart is rare at all.
Running an Ebay store sure takes a lot more time than a person would think!
  • can i have the link to these sales, i would like to how you talked your customer into buying wal-mart crap

Seems like one or two misses would more than offset any gains from these types of quick profits. At 4 to 7 $ profit per transaction you'd have to do quite a few to make it pay decent money.
