unless they are bought Super CHEAP.
Postcards also appeal to me. I like expensive ones and cheap ones.
Currency appeals to me, from time to time.
Original paintings are also nice.
Edit: I also collect event pins. My dad's been buying a pin from almost every sporting event I've attended, if available. I have multiple Daytona 500s, Rolex 24 hours, and other races, 2003 World Series, 2003 NLCS, pins from rugby matches that I went to while I lived in Scotland, all types of stuff really. I should dig some of that stuff out.

2) Match worn soccer jerseys from those members of the US Men's National team who have played professionally in Europe (have about 30)
The pride and joy of my non-card collection is the jersey worn by Pablo Mastroeni during the USA's famous 3-2 victory over Portugal at the 2002 World Cup (I caught it when he threw it into the stands in celebration at the end of the match).

Dude !
Please post pics of your soccer jersey ! Pablo got a raw deal against ARGENTINA. I remember him playing for Miami Fusion as a rookie - when he was a forward.

Here is one of my favorites, a James Madison signed land grant. I think last time I posted this Rube PM'd me saying he lives near where this land was granted, kind of cool

I have a Chipper Jones 400th Homerun ticket stub (season ticket unused that pictures Chipper in action) going on Ebay tonight. It is the only double that I have in my modest collection.

Those teeth are incredible. Much scarier than any movie...
Also I collect first editon biographies. Mainly with a military theme.

Very cool.
Done it a few times and there's nothing quite like finding a solid arrowhead.

But the world is only 6,000 years old.
No really, ummm...Man From UNCLE stuff, Green Hornet stuff, DVD's, CD's, Comics, Books, Nintendo Games. I used to collect U2 stuff, but most of that I sold. Wish I hadn't though. Pretty neat stuff from Achtung Baby, Zooropa, and POP era. I had a giant inflatable Lemon at one point. That was pretty cool.
I have an original Nintendo and 2 Super Nintendos, all in the original boxes, including the plastic wrap. I was a hoarder as a child.
I pick up rare Nintendo games whenever possible.

NFL HOF RC SET
The rarest game system I own.
Vectrex.
Need to either fix the control (circuit board has some cracks do to some aggressive use) or try and find another for it. Was probably the most expensive single Christmas gift I ever received while growing up and it has seen a lot of use over the years.
And the latest addition to the small guitar collection. Was originally to be given to my son by his grandfather who owned it for many years (he didn't take care of it very well) but after some research we decided (his grandfather and I) that I could have it and if my son shows any interest in picking up guitar I will find something better designed for a child.
Stella Harmony H929 from 1970
Needs a good cleaning and some new strings as the ones on it are old and cruddy.

I found out last week there is a site about 80 miles from me that produces alot of fossils. I was skeptical, but had some free time today so I loaded up and went out there. I finally found a place to get river access and the first sandbar I came to was loaded with fossils. I was there about an hour total and picked up 50 or 60 without doing any digging. Cannot wait until it cools off and I can get to some bars further from the access points to see what is there.
Will have some pics later.
The large ones are about the size of my hand and weigh about 1.5 pounds each.
Not bad for about an hour of work.. We won't talk about the quicksand I found out there though. Luckily the clay bottom was only about 3 feet down.
<< <i>I like to collect pogs.... >>
I still have all of my pogs from childhood, 9-10ish. Slammers too!
