What is best FOOTBALL rookie card?

I have a 1986 Fleer Michael Jordan rc that is graded PSA 9. I was thinking of trying to get a Gretzky rc, 51 Mantle Bowman rc and a Tiger Woods rc (not sure which is best to get)... but trying to figure out what would be the best football rc to get? any suggestions? I was leaning towards maybe Jim Brown rc....

be kinda cool to have these few rookies

The best in terms of value and rarity is the '35 National Chicle Bronko Nagurski. It's considered by many to be the Honus Wagner of football cards. If you're looking at more modern cards, Namath's rookie is probably is toughest.
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."

I would go with one of the following

    35 Nagurski
    58 Brown
    65 Namath
    76 Payton

Can't really go wrong with any of these.

    FINISHED 12/8/2008!!!

Since Gretzky, Jordan, and Woods are recent players I would say mix in a Ripken rookie and a Montana or Payton.
