Clemens Sighting

So me and the family were in Myrtle Beach vacationing and decided to take in a Myrtle Beach Pelicans Single A game on Thursday night. They were playing the Salem Avalanche. Around the second inning the folks around us started turning around and pointing and saying "It sure looks like him." Salem's catcher is Koby Clemens. Mom and dad were at the park watching the game. The park is really small and they were sitting out in the open seats in front of a suite. A few people approached for autographs. He signed a couple and then began turning people away. In the eigth inning, a rumor got started that he would be signing for kids only after the eigth inning. So about a hundred kids ran up to the area in front of the suite. He signed about 20 and then retreated into the glassed suite. A bunch of kids were still hanging around trying to get autographs and Roger's ignoring them all. Then one guy holds up his cute daughter and Clemens points to her. His wife comes out and takes her ball and seat cushion inside to Roger who signs them both. Too bad my kids are ugly.

The worst part was that most of the crowd missed the end of the game. The Pelicans were down 4-0 and scored 3 in the bottom of the ninth to win.

    see now he should have signed for everyone, or don't go to the game, if he wants to stay in good graces after his trouble he needs to be fan friendly

    It was 4-0 until the Pelicans scored one in the bottom of the 7th, one in the bottom of the 8th, and three in the bottom of the 9th.

    And Lord I apologize for that there and be with all the starvin' pygmies in New Guinea.
