My wife and I have 5 sons with another child in route. My greatest fathers day gift for me , would be for all of them , including the mother-in-law to leave for the day. I can hear the birds singing, then I wake up.
Happy Fathers day to all.

Thank you and Happy Fathers Day to all the Fathers out there! What's everyone doing today besides watching sports??? Here is what I'm doing today. My wife's Grandfather who was born in Los Angeles back in 1921 moved to Mexico back in the early 30's and came back about 10 years later told my cousin he wanted to cook a goat in the back yard, in a hole in the ground. I guess that is some Mexican tradition??? So my cousin had his buddy at the butcher shop prep a goat and he started cooking it last night. It will be ready to eat later today. There will also be plenty of other meats on the grill for the people who don't want to try goat.
That would be nice Mike! It has been a tradition for many years to golf on Fathers day with my Father, Brother and Grandfather. This will be the first year we wont due to my grandfathers declining health. So I think we are going to my grandfathers house to do some landscaping. (Matt, can I borrow your zero-turn)
I'm taking my Father to the Brewers game today. They have a Father's Day deal where for $195, you get 2 tickets to the game in the Gehl Club (a restaurant/bar in the ballpark on the club level out in left field), a buffet meal, 2 drinks each....and then after the game you get to go down on the field and have a catch for 10 minutes.
Also wanted to say thanks to my own Dad for fueling my love for baseball. And thanks for going back and forth to a local drug store in 1979 and buying me pack after pack until I finally pulled a Dale Murphy card. I can still taste the gum.
